“Friendly staff, spotlessly clean. Breakfast, both cooked and continental style. The hotel does full board if required. Hotel based in the old town, within walking distance to Levantee beach and night strip for an action-packed evening. Something for everyone. Hotel entertainment caters mainly for an older generation when available. Deni the barman/compare very friendly can be found on the sixth floor terrazzo lounge from 16.00 hours.”

Perfect location for poniente beach,the Old Town and the levante side.we had a sea view room, (309) the views are amazing .the housekeeper cleaned and changed towels every day.infact the whole of the hotel is kept spotlessly clean. Being honest the mattress wasn’t the most comfortable and the shower cubicle a bit tight but we survived 😅. Although i don’t agree with paying for the safe box i did this time and the cost was quite reasonable 18 euro for the 2 weeks with a 10 euro refundable deposit. We hired a fridge for the 2 weeks for 30 euro which was well worth it , to keep drinks and snacks cool a cold beer from the fridge sat on the balcony was bliss watching the world go by.All the staff are really friendly and helpful. The food was excellent very tasty,varied and plentiful. We would definitely return to hotel Montemar.”

“A Wonderful home from home
We have just booked this wonderful hotel for an overnight quick visit at the end of July.
By the end of the year we will have stayed 3 times adding to our previous 3 visits. It is our home from home in beautiful Benidorm. We have been regular visitors for 25+ years and now wont stay anywhere else.
The sea views are stunning and the rooms, either VIP or standard, are spotless and comfortable. A fridge and safe are available to rent. We bring a kettle with us but they are easy to buy locally for 14/15 euros.
Breakfast is varied and tasty with a show cooking area for those wanting freshly prepared eggs. Chilled Cava is a holiday treat and always welcome. We havent tried other meals but will on our next trip.
We noted that the cheese when there at Semana Santa was the plastic sliced variety 🙁 Hopefully fresh Havarti or Emmental will be added.
Lastly a word about the great staff, always smiling and willing to help. Especially the man and woman in the spectacular rooftop bar. It is an amazing space.”
