09 May Measures that we have adopted to make you feel safe during your stay
Everything is now ready for your 2021 holidays. We want you to have a happy and comfortable holiday at Hotel Montemar.
We have based our effort on these 3 essential pillars:
- Maintaining the cleaning and disinfection programs implemented during summer of 2020.
- Maintaining the social distancing measures and capacity limitations.
- Mandatory use of masks in common areas throughout the hotel.
Our staff is very involved in ensuring that your stay at the Hotel Montemar is pleasant.
Therefore we feel the need to explain the measures that we have adopted to make you feel safe among us:
In the entire hotel:
- We have installed contactlesss hydroalcoholic gel hand sanitizer devices in the entrance of the lifts and in all common areas.
- We have methacrylate screens at the Reception desk and in the Restaurant.
- You will find signs on the floor and walls to maintain social distance.
- The taps in all common toilets (Bar-Cafeteria, Restaurant, Terrace Lounge) are activated by infrared sensors.
- Contactless card payment at points of sale.
- We have maintained and intensified all cleaning protocols, implemented in the summer of 2020, with special attention in critical areas: lifts, corridors, handrails, stairs, doorknobs, etc.
- Our lifts are programmed to control their maximum capacity avoiding stops on intermediate floors. We have implemented delayed closing of its doors and installed air extractors to ensure air renewal.
In the Restaurant, Bar and Terraces:
- The use of masks is mandatory in all hotel facilities and in bars and restaurants, except when the client is seated and consuming.
- Bar service is prohibited.
- We have installed methacrylate partition screens in all customer service points.
- We have limited the capacity and separated the tables, according to current regulations, to maintain the distance between customers. The tables and chairs are disinfected, after each use, with effective viricidal products against SARS-CoV-2 and authorized in the Registry of the Ministry of Health.
- We have installed hydroalcoholic gel hand sanitizer devices in: entrances, buffet display shelves, self-service machines and toilets.
- We have marked measures on the ground and placed signage to ensure physical distancing.
- The cold buffet contains: single-servings of individually plated foods and other foods in which the utensils for customer’s self-serving are changed, sanitized and disinfected every 15 minutes.
- All foods displayed on the buffet are covered by protective screens.
- All our staff use hygienic masks. The use of gloves is limited to food processing.
- We have installed an air extraction system, which permanently renews the air, and CO2 metres that verify it, in the Restaurant, Bar-Cafeteria and Miramar Lounge.
In the rooms:
We follow a strict cleaning and disinfection protocol for rooms and bathrooms; as well as stairs, corridors and common areas, with special attention to critical points: TV remote controls, card holders, switches, etc … We use viricidal products approved and authorized by the Ministry of Health, effective against SARS-CoV-2.
- The hotel linen: sheets, towels, bedspreads, etc. are washed at more than 60ºC and in wash cycles of more than 40 minutes.
- Sealed and disinfected toilets.
- We have eliminated the Amenities in the rooms to avoid any contact between clients.
- We have kept the hand gel and shower gel in the dispensers in each room.
Our staff use hygienic masks and their temperature is taken daily before starting their work. Our staff is trained and is highly aware of SARS-CoV-2 safety and hygiene.
